This hard drive comes in the same casing as your original hard drive that your laptop came with so you can simply swap the two.  The U1 hard drive is not as easy to get to as some of the other hard drives in the Toughbooks and we don't recommend you try it on your own but if you are please make sure you are able to access it prior to ordering.  We can also install the drive for you, simply order this hard drive and let us know in the order comments you want it installed, we will then give you instructions on where to ship your Toughbook U1 too.  We don't charge for installation service you will simply need to cover the shipping costs, we can usually turn this installation around same day once we get the hard drive.
